Pandava Guhalu
Pandava Guhalu Situated in the Thirumalagiri village of Regonda Mandal
in Warangal, this chain of tiny hillocks lies about 50 kms from Warangal. These
have been unexplored for many years and are excellent to watch for the human
eye.
The topography of this place makes it very much suits for rock climbing
which is permitted . It’s believed the Pandavas spent time at the site and the
region even finds mention in the Mahabharata.Along with these there are nearby
tourist destinations like ramappa, kotagullu and the laknavaram etc..
The cave paintings here date back to the pre-historic age. The caves are
adorned with figures of humans, animals and other symbols. Experts say these
cave paintings date back to at least the 7th Century. Pandavula Guhalu offers
an excellent respite from the usual getaways.
Telangana has become a rich tourist destination as these places have
never been explored to this extent
